The Board of Fire Commissioners in East Brunswick Fire District #1, approved the following resolutions at the their annual re-organization meeting of the Board on March 1, 2016.
The Official meeting dates for the Board of Fire Commissioners are as follows: April 6, May 3, June 7, July 5, August 2, August 16, {budget prep mtg.} September 6, September 13 {budget prep mtg.}, October 4, November 1, December 6, January 3, February 7 and March 7, 2017. All meetings will be held at the fire house located at 310 Rues Lane in East Brunswick, NJ at 7:30 PM. The official depositories for the Fire District funding for the year 2016 will be The Provident Bank and TD Bank. The official newspapers of the Board will be The Home News Tribune and the Sentinel. The firm of Holman Frenia Allison will be the official auditing firm for the district and Cheryl Parker was appointed as the Board’s accountant for the year 2016 also to serve as a QPA {qualified purchasing agent} for the district. John Talbot was re-appointed to the position of Fire Marshal, Joseph Kotora, Sr., Joseph Serrao, Vincent Serrao and Jaysen Whalen were re-appointed as Fire Inspectors to the Bureau of Fire Safety In East Brunswick Fire District #1. Joseph D. Youssouf was re-appointed as the Board’s attorney and Sheryl A. Kotora was re-appointed to the position of Executive Administrative Assistant to the Board of Fire Commissioners and Fire District #1, Darla Dougherty was re-appointed as the Administrative Asst. to the Bureau of Fire Safety. The Board of Fire Commissioners serving in East Brunswick Fire District #1 are as follows: Bruce R. Smith, Chairman, Frederick J. Hoover, Jr., Clerk, Michael P. Mosher, Vice-Chairman, Robert McDonald, Treasurer and Paul J. Prinzo, Asst. Treasurer/Clerk. The office of the Board of Fire Commissioners in East Brunswick Fire District #1 is located at 680 Old Bridge Turnpike and operating business hours are Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM.
